June 16: ESPN 1420 Sports Festival presented by United Healthcare Community Plan. All-day family event celebrating sports in Hawaii. June 17: Hawaii Polo Club. Multiple polo matches, followed by concert by Keith Batlin’s Jimi Hendrix Experience. Matches begin at 2:00 p.m. North Shore Oceanfront Field. Admission. INFO

June 18-29: Youth Impact Program. Youth program geared to promote positive development in at-risk middle school male students ages 10-14. Program includes 60 hours of classroom time and 20 hours of football fitness training, mentoring and teaching. Founded by Super Bowl champion and Polynesian Football Hall of Fame inductee Riki Ellison. Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. UH-Manoa campus. Free. INFO

June 19-22: Rainbow Warrior Volleyball Camp 1. Instructional volleyball camp for youth (ages 5-11) and juniors (ages 12-18) led by UH Rainbow Warrior volleyball coaching staff. Learn basic volleyball skills, with an emphasis on game play and individual technique. Youth, 9:00 a.m.-Noon; Juniors, 1:00-5:00 p.m. Stan Sheriff Center. Fee.

June 20-22: Rainbow Wahine Beach Volleyball Summer Camp. Girls aged 11-18 will learn all aspects of the sport of beach volleyball, with an emphasis on skill development, techniques, conditioning, strategy and differences from the indoor game. June 25-28: UH Rainbow Warrior Basketball Camp 2. Four-day hoops instructional camp led by UH men’s basketball head coach Eran Ganot, his staff and former players.
